Holy Devil is a work in progress 2D animation production created using Toon Boom Harmony. This animated pilot is a part of me and my groups final capstone project at Yoobee Collages. Holy Devil is an TV pilot written by James Williams. Our group consists of James, Paris Nihoniho, Ace Russ and me, Melissa Damiao.
The story follows Anna, a novice nun who grows tired of her life at the monastery. One night, Anna stumbles upon an old artefact library. As she wanders the halls, Anna comes across a red pendant. Curiosity takes over, and she puts it on. Turns out the pendant is filled with demonic power, and the spirit of Paimon quickly possesses her, turning her into a devilish creature. Anna must now make a run for it before the monastery knights catch her and learn to navigate life with this newfound power.
This 90-second animated sequence follows Anna as she finds the pendant and experiences her first transformation, finishing off with a battle sequence against the knights in the library before Anna makes her grand escape.
My main roles during this production included concept art, background design, clean-up animation and VFX editing.
